One year ago, Emeryville Commerce Connection set out with a simple goal: to bring people together — businesses, innovators, makers, artists, civic leaders, and community partners — to strengthen relationships and build a more connected local economy. What started as a new idea quickly became something much bigger: a growing network built on authentic connection, shared purpose, and the energy that makes Emeryville unique.
Over the past year, we have welcomed a diverse group of members representing hospitality, biotech, technology, arts, small business, and community organizations. Through monthly gatherings, networking events, and partnerships, ECC has created opportunities for meaningful conversations, new collaborations, and lasting professional relationships. Our one-year milestone celebration marked not just an anniversary, but a reflection of the momentum created by our members and supporters.
This first year has shown that when local businesses and community leaders come together, the impact goes beyond networking — it helps shape a stronger, more connected city. From first introductions that turned into partnerships to new members finding their professional community, ECC has become a place where ideas grow and connections matter.
As we look ahead, our focus remains the same: supporting local businesses, amplifying our members, and creating spaces where innovation, collaboration, and community thrive. The foundation has been built — and we are just getting started.
Thank you to every member, sponsor, partner, and attendee who helped make this first year a success. Your participation is the reason ECC continues to grow. Here’s to the next chapter of connection, growth, and opportunity in Emeryville.
